In acknowledgement of National Day of Service and Remembrance, IMCD US recently announced its support for communities across the U.S. through the donation of 80,000 meals to Feeding America. The donation was made possible through employee participation in the IMCD US Get Fit for Hunger summer challenge.
IMCD US launched its Get Fit for Hunger challenge in June to engage employees through COVID-19 work-life conditions. The company reports that fun, fitness, and philanthropy became the program foundation to motivate the team.
“On behalf of the senior leadership team at IMCD US, I would like to thank every one of our employees for participating in this challenge,” said Ayanna Hughey, IMCD US human resources director. “There has never been a more important time to come together, to support each other from a wellness perspective, and to show our communities how much we care. It is because of this team spirit that we have achieved our goal together as #oneIMCD.”
