Effective December 1, 2021, and as existing contracts allow, BASF is increasing prices for its additives for the paint and coatings industry globally. Impacted products include the Attagel^®, Dispex^®, Efka^®, Foamaster^®, FoamStar^®, Hydropalat^®, Irgafos^®, Irganox^®, Loxanol^®, Rheovis^®, Sterocoll^®, Tinuvin^®, and Uvinul^® grades.

BASF reports that price increases of up to 35% are needed to compensate for surging raw material, transportation, and energy costs, as well as other rising costs, including labor, packaging, and maintenance. The increases are necessary to continue to support customers with high-level products and services.
