Teckrez, Inc. announced that Olivia Jobes has joined the company as director of commercial development. Jobes will develop and execute commercial plans to increase market share in tackifying resins and acrylic monomers.

“We are very pleased Olivia has joined our team of exceptional market specialists,” said Tom Eckhardt, CEO. “We will continue to look for people to help Teckrez realize its mission to be preferred supplier in our target segments.”

Jobes previously worked for Ingevity Corp., having joined the rosin ester product development and adhesive applications lab in 2013. Her responsibilities at Ingevity culminated in her most recent role managing the commercialization of fatty acids based on non-traditional feedstocks. Jobes holds a bachelor’s of science degree in bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and an MBA from the Citadel in Charleston, S.C.

“Olivia’s experience in target market segments like adhesives and specialty coatings will enable her to develop applications for Teckrez products,” said Marc Jackson, president. “Her commercial development experience will be of value in our effort to grow in specific sub-segments like pressure sensitives, tires and specialty resin production.”
