Bostik Performance Adhesives, formerly Ashland’s performance adhesives business prior to Bostik’s acquisition, featured its Isoset™ and Isogrip™ series adhesives for engineered wood and construction applications at this year’s International Mass Timber Conference. Held April 12-14 in Portland, Ore., Mass Timber is the largest gathering of mass timber experts from around the globe.
At the show, Bostik Performance Adhesives featured its new Isoset HX adhesives. These single-component, moisture-curing, structural adhesives have passed qualification requirements to achieve the PRG-320 standard for performance-rated, cross-laminated timber, ensuring their ability to offer quality assurance across application needs.
The company’s Isogrip adhesives also was showcased at Mass Timber. Comprising 100% solids, they contain no VOCs or formaldehyde and are non-flammable to increase worker and occupant safety. Ideal for structural insulated panels and patio enclosures, these single-component laminating adhesives are easy to use, reduce manufacturing costs, and provide excellent resistance to water, heat, and chemicals while structurally bonding a variety of common building substrates.
“We are especially excited to be at this year’s show as Bostik Performance Adhesives,” said Keith Grover, marketing manager for Structural Adhesives. “While we established a reputation in the industry as Ashland for quality, high-performing structural adhesives for the engineered wood marketplace, our recent acquisition by Bostik enables us to further build our relationships and offer even more extensive technical support. We look forward to meeting with industry professionals at Mass Timber and hearing how we can address their needs and make it easier to accomplish their goals.”
