The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) has announced the election of Kim Meidl, director of Resins, Teckrez Inc, to its board of directors. Meidl will serve a three-year term. Meidl has served as director of Resins at Teckrez since 2020, and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. She has served on the ASC Marketing Committee since 2014.
“Kim Meidl excels at creating relationships and working collaboratively to generate solutions and penetrate markets,” said Marc Jackson, president of Teckrez Inc. “She understands the changes that have occurred in the specialty chemical marketplace, and her valuable insight into the sourcing challenges facing today’s manufacturers will be a strategic asset to the Adhesive and Sealant Council.”
The ASC board includes 22 directors representing manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and academia in North America. The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) is a North American trade association dedicated to representing the adhesive and sealant industry. The Council is composed of 106 adhesive and sealant manufacturers, raw material, and equipment suppliers, distributors, and industry consultants, representing more than 75% of the U.S. industry with operations around the world.
