Tesa Tape Inc.: New Tapes for Flexographic Printing Industry

Tesa Tape Inc. has announced two new innovations for the flexographic printing industry. The company's newest adhesive, tesa SteelMaster LT, was developed specificially for holding thin photopolymer plates (.067 inch and thinner) onto steel cylinders. It offers a balance of holding power during the print run combined with easy removal upon job completion. The company has also introduced a new medium-density foam tape called 52121 Softprint SteelMaster. Coated with the SteelMaster LT, it is firm enough to produce vibrant solid coloring, yet soft enough to produce intricate, crisp process reproduction.
