Kraton, a global producer of specialty polymers and high-value biobased products derived from pine wood pulping by-products, has completed a $35 million investment to upgrade its crude tall oil biorefinery towers.
A new pipe repair technology consists of a polymer-based composite of epoxy resin and reinforcing fibers using a wet-wrapping technique in which the resin-impregnated reinforcing fibers are wrapped directly around the pipe defect and cured.
