PPG Industries recently announced it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets of Spraylat Corp., a privately owned industrial coatings company.
Reportedly the first solvent-free epoxy, low-temperature potable water tank lining system, the material is designed to meet the industry’s need for low VOC compliance.
This company’s Zinc Omadine® ZOE™ antimicrobial product and related zinc pyrithione compounds can be used to protect the surfaces of coatings and other dry films from fungal and algal growth.
The facility is reportedly designed to allow for fast, efficient development of new water-based coatings and surface-modifying additives formulated specifically for the Asia-Pacific markets.
