The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has joined with the U.S. Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) and its Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to announce the opening of the $12 million i6 Green Challenge.
Minimizing barriers to trade for green building products, materials and services in the Asia Pacific region through cooperation on standards and conformity assessment took significant steps forward at the March 3-4 Conference on Green Buildings and Green Growth.
Growth will be driven by Asia, North America and Europe, as these regions lead in their efforts to increase production of energy from renewable sources.
