We manufacture an optical reader camera that attaches to gas, electric and water meter registers (digital display). We currently use a peel-off tape to bond the plastic reader to the plastic meter.
Question: We use two-component epoxies in our metal bonding operations. Although the adhesives work well, we find it frustrating to have to handle two components and make sure that they are mixed thoroughly and in the correct proportions. Can you recommend a one-component adhesive that could do the same job?
I am currently formulating a waterborne contact cement, and I have been observing a change in performance over time. What options exist to resolve this issue?
