While the worldwide economic crisis continues to occupy our thoughts (and even take responsibility for increased antidepressant use, according to some reports), the Chinese have found the funny side of it. Jokes are being passed around via the Internet and phone and text message, despite the government’s close watch of online materials.

Not to make light of the situation – especially when more and more companies are announcing layoffs and job cuts on a nearly daily basis – but we all need to look on the lighter side, at least for a minute or two.
