The "Tiger Woods of investing" advises that staying in the market is the
right thing to do -- no matter what your gut is telling you. In a report on NPR, David Swensen, one of the nation's best investors, said it's important not to follow the urge to abandon the stock market.
In fact, now's the best time to invest -- your money will go further with stocks at prices that are far more attractive. While it's not much comfort now, when you're afraid to even open that 401k report that sits at your kitchen table like an unwelcome guest, glaring at you, the market will recover.
Swensen recommends waiting it out.
"Take a deep breath and relax," he says. "Don't panic."
