Minimum Wage

Last week's survey discussed the Seattle City Council's approval of a minimum wage increase to $15/hour. We asked: What is the minimum wage in your area?

Comments were as follows:

$7.75, soon to be $8.25

$7.93 per hour in Florida.

$8.50, by Nevada state law. We pay a minimum of $10.00 per hour for our lowest positions. $15.00 will drive lower skill jobs from Seattle.
