Mactac® Engineered Tapes & Laminates recently unveiled its newest 100% solids, solvent-free performance product line. Environmentally and economically friendly, Macbond™ HSA440 acrylic tapes are also highly versatile, meeting a wide range of requirements in applications such as appliances, automotive, transportation, electronics and printed circuits, building and construction, sign and display, and general industrial uses.

According to the company, Macbond HSA440 acrylic tapes offer exceptional performance on medium- to high-surface energy materials. Additionally, the tapes:
- Maintain adhesion after exposure to heat and humidity;
- Are solvent- and UV-resistant;
- Are non-whitening and low-odor;
- Are easy to handle and die-cut; and
- Ensure minimal adhesive ooze.
Macbond HSA440 acrylic tapes are available as a double-coated tape or transfer adhesive, in various coat weights. The tapes feature either a moisture-stable PCK liner, known to resist welting and provide dimensional stability, or a PET liner, which delivers an ultra-smooth adhesive appearance for laminating or electronics applications.
The tapes are offered in 60-inch rolls and have a two-year shelf life. They are UL recognized for indoor and outdoor application and have been third-party tested for flammability, passing FMVSS302.
Additionally, Macbond HSA440 meets the following criteria: REACH and RoHS regulations, Consumer Product Safety Act of 2008, FDA 21 CFR175.125 (a)/(b), Prop 65, and Toxics in Packaging (formerly CONEG).
