SAE International recently announced the keynote speakers and executive panel that will be leading the 2013 AeroTech Congress & Exhibition in Montréal, which will take place September 24-26 in Quebec, Canada. The event will begin with the Opening Keynote Speaker Rob Dewar, vice president of the C-Series Jet of Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. He is responsible for product development of the C-Series Jet, as well as operations, supply chain, customer support, and international sales campaigns for the aircraft.
On September 25, Lieutenant General (LTG) William Philips of the U.S. Army will address the audience. LTG Philips is a highly decorated officer, being awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, as well as several others. LTG Philips has served in his position since January 2010, but has served the U.S. Army since May of 1976.
Paul Steele, executive director of Air Transport Action Group (ATAG), will speak on the final day of the event. (ATAG is reportedly the only global cross-industry body that promotes sustainable aviation. Steele also works for the International Air Transport Association, for whom he provides guidance and leadership for their global environment strategy.
