Dow Corning^® EA-2000 silicone adhesive is a new high-performance terminal sealant for faster, more cost-effective manufacturing of thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD displays. The low-viscosity, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone sealant reportedly combines high flowability and good adhesion with a fast, non-corrosive cure to facilitate higher throughputs and thinner, more reliable display architectures. Like other silicone materials, the adhesive can provide long-lasting durability compared with organic materials.
