PPG Completes $15.5 Million Investment in Research and Technology Center

PPG’s new facility accommodates more than 90 employees in various research and technology, manufacturing, customer support, and related service and administrative positions.

Upgrades to PPG’s recently completed aerospace facility include increased laboratory and testing space with climate-control capabilities, updated equipment to enhance PPG’s resources for the development of aerospace sealants and coatings, and an open floor plan with dedicated areas to promote collaboration.

PPG recently marked the completion of a $15.5 million investment at its aerospace research and technology (R&T) center in Burbank, Calif. Upgrades to the 39,524-sq-ft (3,672-sq-m) facility include increased laboratory and testing space with climate-control capabilities, updated equipment to enhance PPG’s resources for the development of aerospace sealants and coatings, and an open floor plan with dedicated areas to promote collaboration. The facility currently accommodates more than 90 employees in various R&T, manufacturing, customer support, and related service and administrative positions.
