Creative Materials, Inc. has introduced a new gold conductive ink, coating, and adhesive, 128-24, which the company reports maximizes the effectiveness of the gold in order to establish conductivity with the least amount of gold possible. This product reportedly features excellent adhesion to polyimide, polyester, glass, and other smooth high-energy surfaces.

Creative Materials reports that, unlike typical gold inks, 128-24 offers high coverage and low cost. Some applications include working electrodes, transdermal drug delivery, electrochemical sensors, TENS electrodes, and muscle stimulation devices. 128-24 is also useful for printing non-oxidizing gold electrodes when smooth surfaces or fine features are not required.
